Tardiness
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and on time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class time.
Students arriving 15 minutes or later without prior notice, may be asked to observe class for the day. Missing ‘warm-ups’ due to tardiness may cause injury and is disruptive to the rest of the class.
Absence
It is difficult on teachers and classmates when students are absent from class, as well as absences impact the recital routines. If a student is going to miss a class please call the office or email director@nextgenperformingarts.com, so we can let their teacher know and you can schedule a make-up class within the month. If it is necessary to miss class, please enter the expected absence in your Parent Portal with the reason for the absence. Excessive absences could result in removal from recital piece. Missed classes must be made up by the student who missed the class and cannot be used by friends, family, etc., and must be made up in a comparable level of class that was missed.
April 1st on, if a student has 3 or more absences (absence includes arriving late or leaving early) in any class(es), the student will be removed from the Recital performance for those class(es) with no Recital Fee refunds.
If a student misses two months of classes without notice, the student will be dropped from the class, however tuition will still be owed for both months. A refund will not be given.
